Design of a solution for an embedded suitcase including a screen, a PC, and control sockets.
NCS SYSTEMS was approached to design an embedded suitcase for operation in theater, incorporating a monitor, a compact PC, and various control systems (joysticks, buttons...). The environmental constraints were high: outdoor marine environment, subject to shocks, vibrations, temperatures, and weather conditions.
Our engineering team co-designed a comprehensive system that met these requirements. With partners like Winmate for the screen component, we were able to integrate a reliable and rugged system that met the specifications and was validated through laboratory testing.
We are proud to have initiated this design and to have enabled a rugged, portable system to support our client's missions.
